In the delightful surroundings of Southwold and only a mile from the town centre is NEWLANDS COUNTRY HOUSE.

NEWLANDS is unique within this area offering possibly the best Disabled facilities in the Suffolk coastal area, first class accommodation, thoughtfully designed rooms allow for various options tailored to individual’s needs.

We are proud of the facilities we can offer our disabled guests; Entrance to reception is level access. The restaurant has easy access.

Four purpose built Garden Rooms offer ground floor accommodation with full disabled facilities, each room has level floor easy access, easy to open doors, which are 830mm wide to suit all sizes of wheelchairs, and walking aids.

Rooms are large enough to accommodate extra beds for carer’s and care assistants. Super king size beds can be adapted to double or single.

Each suite has its own patio area set in a quite secluded garden, which is there for your full enjoyment, maybe to read a book or just to listen to the birds sing. Alternatively sit near the pond and watch the fish glide in and out of the water lilies.

Attention to details, hospitality, design classic and modern at the same time are the main characteristics of this hotel.

Taste and tradition are here mixed up to create style and comfort; panelled ceilings, precious and beautiful, overlook spacious rooms provided with all comforts: air conditioning, tv, private bathroom.
